( Criminal Jurisdiction ) Thursday, the Twenty Ninth day of July Two Thousand Twenty One PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice M.DHANDAPANI CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.7231 of 2021 IN CRL OP.34219/2019 SELVAM [ PETITIONER ] Vs STATE REP BY [ RESPONDENT ] THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE, ERUMAPPATTI POLICE STATION, NAMAKKAL DISTRICT.(Crime NO.211 OF 2019) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the bail condition imposed(i.e), the petitioner shall report before the respondent police every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.M.P.No.8200 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.34219 of 2019 order dated 17/12/2020 and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.W.CAMYLES GANDHI, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/S. C.E.PRATAP, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (The case has been heard through video conference) The present petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Para 4 of the order dated 17.12.2021 passed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.8200 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.34219 of 2019.

2. This Court, vide order dated 17.12.2021 directed the petitioner to report before the respondent police on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions imposed by this Court regularly.

4. In the above circumstances, this petition is allowed relaxing the condition by permitting the petitioner to appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation on receipt of summons. Except the above relaxation condition, all other conditions imposed by this Court in its order dated 20.12.2019 in Crl.OP.No.34219 of 2019 stand unaltered.
