[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to produce the petitioner's son S.Vijay, son of Subash, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

It is the case of the petitioner that her son S.Vijay, son of Subash, aged about 23 years, went missing from 19.04.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him. 3.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, a case in Ambattur Police Station Crime No.416 of 2021 for 'man missing' was registered on 05.05.2021 and investigation is in progress.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ambattur, to monitor the investigation in Ambattur Police Station Crime No.416 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu S.Vijay, son of Subash, aged about 23 years, is secured, he shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambattur, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.
