ORDER

Challenging the Circular No.1321, dated 17.4.2023 issued by the second respondent, the petitioner has filed the writ petition. The petitioner sought a consequential prayer to direct the second respondent to transfer her to Kochi Region as per the transfer application dated 4.1.2023 or to any other region near Kochi, including Madurai or Bangalore, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.4.2023 and the reminder dated 21.4.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, in compliance of the impugned Circular, the petitioner had joined the office at Vishakapatnam Region. He would submit 2/5

that Vishakapatnam Region is far away from her home town Kochi and, therefore, the respondent authorities may be directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner ventilated vide her representation petitioner dated 18.4.2023, followed by the reminder dated 21.4.2023.

In view of the limited scope of the relief now sought by learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.4.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.13628 and 13629 of 2023 are closed.
