ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. 2.The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of all the IAs as well as main DVC. No.22 of 2024, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram.

3.The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is her husband. Out of the wedlock, they have two children and the children are in the custody of the petitioner. The petitioner claims that she does not have the financial means to maintain her two children. The petitioner had initiated domestic violence proceedings against the respondent before the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram in DVC. No.22 of 2024. The petitioner had also filed IAs along with DVC. No.22 of 2024. According to the petitioner, till date, neither IAs nor the main DVC. No.22 of 2024 have shown progress before the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for an early disposal of IAs as well as the main DVC. No.22 of 2024.

4.The respondent was earlier set exparte by the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram. Thereafter, the respondent filed an application seeking to set aside the exparte order and the same has been allowed and the counter statement filed by the respondent in DVC. No.22 of 2024 has also been taken on record by the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram.

5.After giving due consideration to the contentions of the petitioner in this petition and after giving due consideration to the fact that the petitioner is the mother of 2 school going children, this Court directs the Judicial Magistrate II, Tambaram to dispose of all the IAs filed by the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to dispose of

the main DVC. No.22 of 2024, within a period of 8 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

7.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
