Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 and consequently issue direction to the 4th respondnet to change the patta name instead of petitioner father to his legal heirs name in Survey No. 155/10 in Patta No. 495 of Villivakkam Panchayat Union Oragadam Panchayat Ambatur Taluk Chennai District for an extents of 20 cents of land.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.02.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for a Patta in the name of the legal heir of Late Kasi @ Neelamega Reddiar.

2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been taken on file by the fourth respondent and the enquiry has been fixed on 16.09.2020 at 11.00 A.M. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present for the enquiry along with the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the fourth respondent has already taken cognizance of the representation of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any notice has to be given to other interested parties, the fourth respondent shall issue notice before conducting the enquiry and passing final orders.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
