This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner for erecting fencing in his land situated in S.Nos.148 and 146/1 Kailasampalayam Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 29.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has given a complaint dated 29.06.2016, based on which a petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.185 of 2016. While so, the petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the police to give him police protection for fencing the pathway. In a dispute of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police as prayed for. However, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.185 of 2016 by calling both the parties and maintain law and order in that area. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
