Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to call for records in the private complaint in C.C.No.6017 of 2004, pending disposal on the fie of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and quash the same. ORDER
Though the learned counsel for the petitioners began his argument for quashing the complaint in C.C.No.6017 of 2004, pending disposal on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that suitable direction may be given to the learned Magistrate to dispose of the case within the time frame as the case is pending from the year 2004.
2.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is disposed of by directing the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to dispose of the C.C.No.6017 of 2004 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The parties are directed to cooperate with the learned Magistrate in complying with the time frame fixed by this Court.
