This Writ Petition is filed under Aticle 226 of Constitution of India seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to disburse medical reimbursement amount of Rs. 3,47,670/- towards the treatment underwent by the petitioner husband at Sundaram Arulraj Hospital, Tuticorin with interest @ 18% per annum.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the medical reimbursement amount of Rs.3,47,670/- towards the treatment undergone by the petitioner's husband at Sundaram Arulraj Hospital, Tuticorin, with interest at 18% per annum.
2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner's husband suffered an ailment and was treated at Sundaram Arulraj Hospital at Tuticorin. He underwent treatment in the said hospital, and the final bill was Rs.3,47,670/-, which includes hospital charges and medication, etc. The expenditure incurred by the petitioner could be claimed under the Medical Health Fund Scheme sponsored by the State Government and had to be indemnified by the first respondent/United India Insurance Company.
3. Following due procedure, the petitioner applied for reimbursement of expenditure of Rs.3,47,670/- and enclosed all the original bills. The said claim, along with the originals bills, was filed before the District Level Empower Committee. The District Level Empower Committee finalised that the petitioner is entitled to be paid Rs.3,47,670/-. The insurance company sought clarification and asked the District Level Empower Committee to provide the original bills for the treatment and medication etc. All the original bills, according to the petitioner, were handed over to the District Level Empower Committee.
4. The factum of the petitioner's husband receiving the treatment in the said hospital is not disputed. However, the Insurance Company for the reason of not providing the original bills, confined the claim to Rs.1,51,575/-.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the Insurance company would submit that if the original bills are handed over to the Insurance Company, the said claim would be entertained, and the amount would be settled.
6. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.3 to 6 would submit that since long time has lapsed, he is not aware whether the original bills are available.
7. The photocopies of bills pertaining to the treatment has been filed by the petitioner. The said bills shall be handed over to the Insurance Company. Upon verification of the said bills, the Insurance Company shall pay the remaining amount.
8. With the said direction, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. K. SURENDER, J.
