ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the Crime No.497 of 2021 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 2nd respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 30.05.2021, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent Police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of six months.

5.In view of the above, the 2nd respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
