This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd Respondent not to harass the petitioners.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the first petitioner is the son and the second and third petitioners are the parents of the first petitioner. The first petitioner availed hand loan for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs from one Sundarraj and his brother Janagiram. The said Sundarraj demanded 10% interest for the amount and the first petitioner accepted the same . After two months, they demanded 30% interest from the first petitioner. The first petitioner has paid the interest along with the principal amount. Inspite of the same, the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Sundarraj and Janagiram had lodged a complaint on 20.4.2015 before the first respondent against the petitioners and the same was transferred to the 3rd respondent for enquiry. The 3rd respondent under the guise of enquiry was frequently calling the petitioners for enquiry and harassing them.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that these petitioners did not repay the loan amount availed from Sundarraj and Janagiram and based on the complaint given by Sundarraj and Janagiram, C.S.R.No.238/2015 was assigned and thereafter, an enquiry was conducted and in the enquiry, the petitioners themselves have agreed to repay the amount and they have also given a letter to the effect that they would repay the amount. He further submitted that it is incorrect to state the the respondent police is harassing the petitioners. There is no intention on the part of the respondent police to harass the petitioners.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no need to pass any specific direction to the respondents. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed.
