By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.
The petitioner was initially appointed as driver in the services of the 1st respondent Municipality through District Employment Exchange and at that time, he was having the qualification of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The petitioner would further state that he is working in that capacity for over 15 years and after obtaining necessary permission, he has completed his B.E. Mechanical Engineering in the year 2011 in First Class. Therefore, he made a representation to the 3rd respondent to consider his claim for any post of Electrician Grade II which is vacant in Nagercoil Municipality for over two years. Simultaneously, submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 04.11.2011 and it was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
rejected vide letter dated 02.12.2011. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent through proper channel on 13.07.2015. As the same has not been given disposal, the petitioner came before this Court with this Writ Petition.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Muthuraj, learned Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This Court taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 13.07.2015 in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 5.
