By consent, the Writ Petition has been taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner is the Head of the Organising Committee of the temple Periyur Arulmigu Sri Bagavathiammal Koil Thiruvizha, Namakkal Taluk and District and submitted a representation/application dated 21.05.2016 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct the cultural programme in connection with the temple festival on 26.05.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for larger relief, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and also taking into consideration the fact that the date of conducting temple festival falls today, this Court permits the petitioner to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submit one more representation/application to the respondent for conducting the cultural events in connection with the temple festival. The respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider and pass orders within one week thereafter and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner.
