Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to refund the amount of Rs.2,20,882/- to the petitioner pursuant to the dropping of surcharge proceedings, vide Order No.PAG(E & RSA)/ISR-IV/Reg-III/20-112/ 2010-11/72 dated 17.04.2013 passed by the 3rd respondent.

Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner being a retired Deputy Inspector General of Registration and in view of the fact that the charge of under-valuation have been dropped, the representations made on 16.06.2014, 07.11.2014 and 08.12.2014 may be directed to be considered by the respondent no.2. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Considering the same, a direction is issued to the respondent no.2 to pass orders on the representation dated 08.12.2014 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
