By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the President of Temple Festival Committee of Sree Ooru Maariyamman Temple and submitted an application dated 18.05.2016 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural dance programme in a grand manner in connection with the temple festival to be held on 26.05.2016. 3. Per contra, Mr.R.Govindasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader, would submit that the petitioner has approached this Court in the very last minute and it will be very difficult for the respondent to pass order before the date of conducting the temple festival.
4. This Court has considered the rival submissions.
5. In the light of the above facts and circumstances, it is not possible to direct the respondent to dispose of the application today and in the alternative, this Court is of the view that it would be suffice to permit the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondent praying for appropriate permission to conduct cultural dance programme in connection with the temple festival well in advance and the respondent, on receipt of the said representation, is directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of one week thereafter and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To The Inspector of Police, Marandahalli Police Station, Dharmapuri District.
