O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2024 and to direct the respondents to pay interest of 12% P.A for delay of 609 days till the date of order in releasing the petitioner's pension amount and to calculate correct D.A and to give the petitioner's EL benefits difference amount.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that when the petitioner, who had retired from the services of the first respondent on 28.02.2023 as Checking Inspector (CI), made a representation dated 11.12.2024 to the respondents seeking interest for the belated payment of the terminal benefits, there was no response for the same. 2/5

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the representation made by the petitioner is yet to be considered, this Court without going into merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.12.2024 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
