Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed praying to extend the permission to travel abroad granted to the petitioner vide order dated 10.03.2020 by another three months from 31.08.2020 till 01.12.2020 and suspending the LOC issued against him till 01.12.2020.

This matter is taken up for hearing through VideoConferencing mode.

2. This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed to extend the permission to travel abroad granted to the petitioner by another 3 months from 31.08.2020.

3. The reasons stated seeking for such extension is that the international flights are not being operated from and to this Country to and from any foreign country, more particularly, Singapore. It is stated that the petitioner is now staying at Singapore, after obtaining permission from this Court by its order dated 10.03.2020, followed by further extension order dated 28.05.2020. It is also an admitted fact that the CBI Court, Delhi has extended the time upto 30.11.2020.

4. The respondents filed a counter affidavit and objected to the extension of time.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner can be granted extension of time till 30.11.2020. Accordingly, the order passed by this Court on 10.03.2020 and further extension by order dated 28.05.2020, is further extended upto 30.11.2020. In other words, the suspension of LOC issued against the petitioner by the second respondent shall continue till 30.11.2020.
