Heard Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

2. This revision petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu for speedy disposal of O.S.No.140 of 2020.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that O.S.No.140 of 2020 is filed seeking for a declaration to declare the sale deed dated 28.6.2019 is null and void. The petitioner being the defendant has filed written statement long ago, however, the suit is being adjourned from time to time and issues have also not been framed.

4. The petitioner has filed copies of the proceedings sheets of the trial Court, which would show that the matter was posted for framing issues and referred to Lok Adalat and again the matter is posted for framing of issues.

5. Considering the nature of the suit and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of directing the learned District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu to frame issues on the next date of hearing and expedite the trial and dispose of O.S.No.140 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, not later than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
