..Respondent(s) PRAYER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Pa.Mu.No.7494/A4/2025 dated 24.2.2026 and to quash the same as illegal and incompetent and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to pay two incentive

increments and cash benefits for completing two higher education degrees i.e.MA(Political science) during 1983 and M.Ed during 2000. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Pa.Mu.No.7494/A4/2025 dated 24.2.2026 and to quash the same as illegal and incompetent and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to pay two incentive increments and cash benefits for completing two higher education degrees i.e.MA(Political science) during 1983 and M.Ed during 2000.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the very same issue involved in this writ petition has been dealt by this Court in writ petition in W.P.No.38761 of 2025 dated 14.10.2025, wherein, it is observed as follows:

"6. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands

disposed of. No costs. "

3. The aforesaid common order dated 14.10.2025 squarely applies on all fours to the case in hand and therefore, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the request of the petitioner in the light of the above order and the government order in G.O.Ms.No.42, Education Department dated 10.01.1969, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
