COMMON PRAYER:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to settle the final bill for the work executed by the Petitioner Company relating to Construction of Integrated Chief Engineer High Ways Office Building at quality Control and Research Office, Highways Campus, Guindy and for providing Additional Amenities to Integrated Chief Engineers office complex in Highways Research Station Campus, Guindy, Chennai respectively along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the delay in payment, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed by the Petitioner to direct the Respondents to settle the final bill for the work executed by the Petitioner Company relating to Construction of Integrated Chief Engineer High Ways Office Building at quality Control and for providing additional amenities to Integrated Chief Engineers Office Complex in Highways Research Station Campus, Guindy, Chennai along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the delay in payment, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Mr. R. Venkatesh, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, submits that the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued G.O. (D). No. 116 dated 11.05.2018, appointing a Committee to examine the disputes raised by the Petitioner, and the said authorities have already taken steps in respect of the claim made by the Petitioner.
3. These Writ Petitions stand disposed recording the aforesaid subsequent developments. If the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, it is open to him to work out his remedy for necessary relief before the competent forum in the manner recognized by law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
