ORDER

The above application is filed for setting aside the order passed in IA.No.189 of 2021, in and by which the learned Judge has directed the petitioner herein to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- per month as maintenance and a sum of Rs.3,000/- towards costs. This Court by order dated 20.08.2023 had directed a stay on condition that the petitioner husband pays a sum of Rs.12,000/- per month to the wife. The petition, namely Section 24 petition was filed on 17.07.2017.

2. The total due is Rs.6,48,000/- and the husband has paid a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- till date and a sum of Rs.2,48,000/- is still due and payable.

3. On the payment of the balance arrears amount, the learned Judge shall proceed to dispose of the HMOP, within a period of 6 months thereafter. The petitioner shall continue to pay a sum of 2/5

Rs.12,000/- per month to the respondent.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is allowed with the above observation. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
