This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to conduct proper and fair enquiry based on the complaint dated 04.07.2016 by the petitioner and file final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.332 of 2016 on 12.07.2016 for offences under Section 147, 148, 452, 294[b], 341, 427 and 506[ii] IPC and investigation is in progress.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and take action in accordance with law.
