By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioners' application dated 16.02.2024. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioners is that despite they given representation for change of patta on the basis of inheritance, the same has not been considered. Hence, they seeks a direction. 5.

The records would show that the second respondent has rejected the petitioners' application stating that the civil suit is pending between the parties. During the pendency of the civil suit, the authorities cannot effect any mutation.

In such view of the matter, I do not find any merits in the writ petition. The petitioners are at liberty to establish their rights in the civil suit in the manner known to law.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
