When the matter was taken up for hearing on 17.10.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time and on his request, the case was directed to be posted on 24.10.2016. On 24.10.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" on 04.11.2016. Even today, (i.e. 04.11.2016), there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner either in person or through the learned counsel on record. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
