By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a member of the Festival Committee to organize the temple festival of Sri Mariamman Temple on 01.06.2016 at Gurubhavanigunda, Mallakonda Post, Natrampalli Taluk, Vellore District and in this regard, he submitted a representation dated 23.05.2016 to the respondent praying for appropriate permission to conduct the cultural program, which includes song and dance. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Prabakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 23.05.2016 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, on or before 30.05.2016 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
