Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 29.07.2020 for assigning Patta to his land measuring 1 Acre and 75 cents in S. No.379/6 and land measuring 1 Acre and 85 Cents in S. No.379/7 in all admeasuring 2 Acres 16 Cents situated at Alamathi Village (Alamathi II) Ponneri Taluk Thiruvallur District.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.07.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for Assignment Patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner has been taken on file and enquiry has been fixed on 10.09.2020 at 11.00 A.M. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present during the enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that that the respondent had already fixed the date for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
