Ms.C.Meera Arumugam,AGP For R1 & R2 Mr.V.Meganathan Govt.Advocate (crl.side) For R3 ND/W -R4 & R5 -Pvt Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 03.11.2025 filed under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act against respondents 4 and 5, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 are physically assaulting the petitioner and they are also attempting to throw him out of the house. According to the petitioner, the property belongs to him. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking for evicting respondents 4 and 5 from his house through the application filed under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act.

3.Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) accepts notice on behalf of the third

respondent. Since no adverse order is being passed against respondents 4 and 5, notice to respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with by this Court. 4.No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 03.11.2025 seeking for the reliefs as prayer for in this application, on merits and in accordance with law, by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 03.11.2025 filed under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act against respondents 4 and 5, on merits and in accordance with law, by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected WMP is closed. No costs.
