This writ petition has been filed against the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 15.05.2015 under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act.

2.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Bala Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.This Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition since the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act. That apart, the petitioner has approached this Court with a delay of five years and therefore, this writ petition is hit by laches. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed. If the petitioner has any other remedy, the petitioner can work out the same in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
