The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent police under the guise of investigating the complaint given by one 1/4
Gowthami, Actress called the petitioner for enquiry repeatedly, a Doctor by profession who gave the life certificate to the complainant on her request. The petitioners states that inspite of his explanations he has been repeatedly harassed by the police under the guise of enquiry. Hence, pray for a direction to the respondent police not to harass him under the guise of enquiry.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the complainant Gowthami has denied the signature found in the life certificate given by this petitioner have taken steps taken to get expert's opinion regarding the signature found in the life certificate issued by the petitioner. If the signature is found to be forged, necessary action will be taken against the petitioner or else he may be taken as a witness for the case.
3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to proceed after getting opinion of the handwriting expert.
