ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 120-B, 34, 408 & 420 of IPC in Crime No. 151 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is engaged in the business of the gold chit scheme. The petitioner along with A1 is alleged to have misappropriated huge amount of Rs.1,23,15,500/- in the defacto complainant's shop which has been collected from the subscribers of the gold chit scheme. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any such offence and a false complaint has been lodged against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent would submit that the petitioner along with A1 has misappropriated huge amount of the public money collected by way of gold chit scheme. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the petitioner has misappropriated huge amount to the tune of Rs.1,23,15,500/-, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
