ORDER

The petitioner is the owner of seven residential flats, which are assessed separately to property tax. The relevant assessment orders have been carried in appeal and are pending consideration. Meanwhile, in view of the premises being sealed, the petitioner has applied for a direction to de-seal the premises.

2. At the last hearing, Mr.Srinivas, learned standing counsel, provided particulars of amounts due and payable in respect of each apartment.

3. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would remit 50% of the amount due and payable in respect of each apartment. He submits that such payment would be made within four weeks.

4. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to de-seal the residential building comprising the petitioner's seven apartments within one week of the receipt of 50% of the amounts due and payable in relation to each assessment.
