Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2017 duly acknowledged by the 1st respondent on 20.03.2017 on merits in according to law.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2017 on merits in according to law.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as a Salesman in the year 1998 in R.Pudupalayam Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society and subsequently promoted as a clerk in the year 2013. In the year 2013, there was a settlement reached between the labourers of the Society and the Government, the Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has agreed to pay 7% increment to all employees. However, the petitioner was denied two increments because he gave a compliant against the Secretary of the Society. 3.Aggrieved by non-payment of the increment, the petitioner made a representation on 16.03.2017, till date the representation was not considered. Hence, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 16.03.2017 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. 5.Without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 16.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
