By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Organizer of the Oilpatti Kaliamman Mariamman Kovil, Oilpatti Post, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and he intends to conduct cultural program, which includes song and dance programme in connection with the festival of the said temple on 01.06.2016 and in this regard, submitted a representation to the respondent on 23.05.2016 praying for appropriate permission to conduct the cultural program. However, the above said representation was rejected by the respondent stating the permission of Government is necessary to conduct the cultural Programme.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in similar facts and circumstances, this Court has granted positive orders permitting to conduct the cultural events subject to certain conditions and prays for appropriate relief.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.W.Camyles Gandhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances, directs the respondent to re-consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.05.2016, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on or before 30.05.2016 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
