ORDER

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final hearing. 2.

The petitioner was issued with a license by the respondent to run a restaurant under the name and style of "Annapurana". The petitioner has also paid a sum of Rs.25000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) vide D.D.No.941725 dated 06-11-2012. According to the petitioner, due to personal difficulties and circumstances, he was not in a position to run the restaurant profitably and therefore, submitted a representation, dated 05-03-2015 praying for cancellation of the license granted to him and refund the sum of Rs.25,000/- towards caution deposit and a sum of Rs.4,50,080/- paid towards advance and since he is yet to be favoured with any response, he has come forward with the present writ petition.

Mr. P. Paramasivadoss, learned counsel appearing for the respondent accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 3.

Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court without going into the facts and circumstances of the case, directs https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 05-03-2015 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 4.
