ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to forbear the 1st Respondent from proceeding further pursuant to the charge memo dated 23.3.2016 on the file 1st Respondent till the disposal of Cr.No.77 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd Respondent.
2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.
3. After some elaborate arguments, the learned counsel for the Petitioner only pleaded that it is a very meagre offence, which according to the Petitioner, it is not done by him. But, in view of the pendency of the criminal proceedings, since the witnesses are one and the same, prejudice will be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
caused to him and therefore, the learned counsel seeks at least for deferring it for some time.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents 1 and 2 would contend that if the Petitioner cooperates with the enquiry, the disciplinary proceedings will be completed expeditiously.
5. Considering the fact that it is only a minor offence, the Respondents are directed to complete the enquiry proceedings, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the enquiry.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
