JUDGMENT

When the matter is taken up for hearing on 23.06.2018 in the Special Sitting, there was no representation for the appellant and this Court directed the Registry to post this matter on 27.06.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'.

2. Since the case was not heard on 27.06.2018 through video conferencing, Registry listed this matter today for hearing through video conference.

3. Even today (02.07.2018), there was no representation for the appellant as well as for the respondent. Therefore, it could be inferred that the parties are not interested in prosecuting https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the case and it is also seen that the appeal is of the year 2003, which is pending for more than 15 years without any quietus. Hence, this Court is of the view that the Criminal Appeal is liable to be dismissed for default and accordingly, the same is dismissed for default.
