Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 29.09.221, the contempt petition was posted for hearing today. Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that, the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Nagapattinam on 20.10.2021 as against the three accused https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ persons for offences under Sections 406, 429, 465, 468, 471 and 120B I.P.C. Cont.P.No.1075 of 2021 learned Government Advocate further submitted that the Judicial Magistrate is yet to take the final report on file.
2. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Nagapattinam to act upon the final report filed by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
