Writ Petition No.24026 of 2015 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.03.2015 and direct the respondents to allot a Plot to the petitioner, out of 65 un-allotted Plots in the Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar Scheme, New Perungalathur, within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Seeking to consider the respective representations of the petitioners, dated 25.05.2015 and 16.03.2015, in which they have sought for allotment of Plots out of 65 un-allotted Plots in Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar Scheme, New Perungalathur, Chennai, the present Writ Petitions are filed, since no action had been taken on those representations. Taking into account the limited scope of the prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions, without going into the merits of the case, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent-Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, to pass appropriate orders on the above said representations, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and any aggrieved parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or on production of a copy of this order by the petitioners, along with a copy of the said representations, whichever is earlier. No costs.
