ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondents 3 to 5 are dispensed with. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petition dated 24.09.2024 seeking cancellation of alleged fraudulent Patta Nos.3643, 3644, 3645 2/6
mutated in favour of Arun Kumar, Om Prakash, Sesha Gopal for the lands comprised in S.Nos.245/103 A, 245/103 B and 245/103 C situated at Venpurusham Hamlet in No.156 Mahabalipuram Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Chengai M.G.R District in accordance with law. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner submitted a petition on 24.09.2024 seeking conduct of an enquiry and cancellation of alleged fraudulent Patta Nos.3643, 3644 and 3645. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by 1st respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that the petition dated 24.09.2024 made by petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5.In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ 3/6
Petition, there shall be a direction to 1st respondent, to consider the petition dated 24.09.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 3 to 5 and any other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the petition and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the petition on its own merits and in accordance with law.
