Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.2132 of 2013 on his file to file a final report before the appropriate Court in accordance with law and fix the time frame in stipulated time period for the Trial of the above said crime before XVII Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet. The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report before XVII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet in Crime No.2132 of 2013.

2. This petition has been filed for alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC as against one Sathia Narayanan and his wife viz., Mageswari. The said complaint has been lodged as early as 14.10.2013. But, till date, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.2132 of 2013 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
