ORDER

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final hearing. 2.

The petitioner claims to be the Executive Committee Member of Sri Lord Mayilparai Velmurugan Temple situated at Yelagiri Village,Jolarpettai, Vellore District and according to him, every year during Adikrithigai, they used to conduct Temple festival and for this year also an application dated 29-07-2015 is submitted to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural program on 08-08-2015, the said application is yet to be taken into consideration and hence the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that in the event of permission being granted to the petitioner to conduct the cultural event, which includes song and dance, no vulgarity or obscenity will take place. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard the submissions of Mr.S.V. Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, has also given an undertaking with regard to the conduct of the cultural program, without any law and order problem or obscenity or vulgarity. Therefore, in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is allowed. The respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 29-07-2015 on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner. 6.

No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petition is closed.
