O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. The petitioner submits that he married one Premalatha and out of the wedlock, they are having three children. Subsequently, there was a difference of opinion between the petitioner and his wife and his wife separated from him and started living with her mother in the same village. The petitioner would state that though the petitioner is paying maintenance and also spending amount for the education for his children, his wife Premalatha is harassing the petitioner by giving false complaint against the petitioner to the respondent police and the third respondent is calling the petitioner frequently in the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- (i) The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

(ii) The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner.

5. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
