ORDER
By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final hearing. 2.
The petitioner's father submitted a representation for issuance of patta in respect of land admeasuring to an extent of 61 cents in survey No.349/7,Tiruttani Village and since it was not disposed of, he filed W.P.No.12469 of 2010 on the file of this Court and vide order dated 16-06-2010, this Court has directed the respondent to consider the said representation on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Alleging contempt of the said order, the petitioner's father filed Contempt Petition No.616 of 2013 and this Court vide order dated 28-10-2013 disposed of the contempt petition stating that the order with regard to the request was rejected vide order dated 16-06-2010.
The grievance expressed by the petitioner's father is that the order of rejection, dated 16-06-2010 was not served on him and in this regard, the father of the petitioner submitted a representation on 29-09-2014 to the respondent and till now, no orders have been passed. In the interregnum, the father of the petitioner died on 27-11-2014 and hence, the son of the petitioner has come forward with this petition.

This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, permits the petitioner to submit one more https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation by enclosing a copy of this order along with the copy of the earlier representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondent on receipt of the same is directed to consider the same and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 4.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. The connected M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
