The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report before the competent Court in Crime No.1481 of 2013.

2. This petition has been filed for alleged offences under Sections 457 and 382 IPC as against Harikrishnan, Alamelu, Logu, Murali and others. The said complaint has been lodged as early as 21.09.2013. But, till date, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No. 1481 of 2013 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
