By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final hearing. 2.

The petitioner claims that he participated in the freedom struggle to free this country from the clutches of the British Rule and he was sanctioned freedom fighter's pension of Rs.4000/- per month vide G.O.No.A.A.N.14020/03-06-2009. The petitioner would state that though he is having four sons and one daughter, they are not in a position to maintain the petitioner and he has submitted a representation dated 17-02-2015 praying for enhancement of the quantum of pension and since no orders has been passed, has come forward with this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 4.

This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17-02-2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 5.
