Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 23.08.2017, and pass orders on the same.

3. The petitioner is a Cooperative Society. It is stated that three godowns owned by the petitioner Society were taken on lease by the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., and however, they have not paid the rent for some period with arrears. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has made the above said representation seeking not only for payment of arrears, but also for enhancement of rent. The said representation is said to be still pending and not yet considered by the respondents.
4. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, dispose this writ petition only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
