ORDER
This petition is filed to forbear the respondents 7 to 11 from conducting God Procession, Abishekam, Therukoothu (street play) in connection with the village temple.
2. This Court finds that the petitioner claiming himself as one of the trustee of the village temple. It is his grievance that the organizers of the temple festival have excluded him from participating in the temple function and hence he wants to forbear the respondents from conducting the festival.
3. This sort of negative injunction cannot be granted when sentiments of villagers are involved and functions are conducted in accordance with law without creating law and order problem. If at all the petitioner wants to participate as a devotee in the temple function, there cannot be any restriction or restrain for him from participating in the temple function.
4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 25.04.2024 Index: Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order bkn
