C.M.P.No.13032 of 2024 in C.M.A.Sr.No.54974 of 2024 N.ANAND VENKATESH , J This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 240 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. This Court has already dispensed with notice to respondents 1, 3 to 6. The second respondent is represented through counsel. Notice has been served on the seventh respondent and the name of the seventh respondent is also printed in the cause list. However, there is no appearance on behalf of the seventh respondent either in person or through counsel.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 240 days in filing the above appeal is condoned.

5. Registry is directed to number the main Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the same for admission in due course. Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.D.Bhaskaran, learned counsel for second respondent, in the cause list at the time of admission. It is made clear that for the period of delay of 240 days, the appellants will not be entitled for any interest if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
