ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the sole respondent.

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 05.05.2021 seeking appointment in any one of Group C or D posts with all consequential monetary and service benefits.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed before it.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim made by him in is representation, this Court directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
