This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2023.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent.

It is the case of the petitioner that the building bearing Door Nos.119 to 127, 131 and 133 situated at Suriyan Street, Variety Hall Road, Coimbatore, was owned by the petitioner's father-in-law. According to the petitioner, the said building is in a dilapidated condition and requires immediate demolition. In this regard, the petitioner made representation dated 16.06.2023 to the respondents requesting them to demolish the said building and the same has not been considered by them. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition, seeking direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 16.06.2023. 4.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to 2/4

consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
