2. The petitioner claims to be the Head of the Organizing Committee of Arulmighu Sri Muthumariamman Koil at Govindarajapattinam, Kannakurichi Post, Salem Taluk and District, and he intends to conduct cultural program, which includes song and dance programme in connection with "Sri Muthumariamman Koil Thiruvizha" on 02.06.2016 and in this regard, submitted a representation to the respondent on 23.05.2016 praying for appropriate permission to conduct the cultural program. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.05.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 31.05.2016 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
